LGBTQ+ Newton TABLING at —> Newton Flag Raising Ceremony & Community Resource Fair, June 3

This year, the Newton Human Rights Commission is partnering with the Newton Celebration of Queer Culture (CQC) Planning Committee to host a shared Pride month event.
On Wednesday, June 3rd, the event will take place outdoors at Newton City Hall begining at 5:00 PM, with the annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony starting at 5:30 PM. This ceremony, held each year during the first week of June, celebrates Pride month and honors Newton residents who have made meaningful contributions to the LGBTQ+ community. The Community Resource Celebration will bring together residents and local organizations who provide incredible support to the queer community. The event aims to create an informative and inclusive environment where queerness is not just tolerated, but celebrated. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the War Memorial inside Newton City Hall.
