2026 Inaugural Commonwealth Pride Awards

On June 17, 2026, the MA LGBTQ+ Legislative Caucus hosted its inaugural, in-person event in the Senate Chamber of the MA State House to highlight and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of LGBTQ+ individuals in our Commonwealth. Over one hundred community leaders, spanning an enormous breadth of achievement including public servants, advocates, doctors, authors, filmmakers, educators, historians, entrepreneurs, and religious leaders were honored, highlighting the collective impact of the LGBTQ+ community. 

Among the honorees were (left to right) Jaclyn Norton, Holly Ryan, Rosa Buffone, and Terry Williams who are pictured above with the City of Newton Mayor Marc Laredo (center) at a celebratory gathering this past week. Congratulations to all the awardees across the state for their outstanding positive contributions in their work towards supporting, advocating, and connecting our LGBTQIA+ communities.
