Screening of “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” and Reception Was Huge Success

A fabulous time was had by all, queer and ally, first-timers and seasoned viewers alike, who came out to see “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” at West Newton Cinema on June 21 for the special Pride month screening and reception. One patron even donned her collectible Priscilla t-shirt from 1994. 

A big shout out to our volunteers for setting up/ breaking down  at the reception and greeting folks, both event attendees and also other movie goers who joined in the fun. 

Thank you also to our co-sponsors, Waltham Pride and Outstanding Life, for contributing to the wonderful refreshments provided at the reception. By the way, the rainbow cupcakes were a huge success!
