Verse Vibes: A Poetry Share

Are you a writer, dreamer, or lover of the written word? LGBTQIA+ Socials invites you to a casual afternoon of sharing poetry.  It isn’t about professional performance; simply a chance to come together to read, listen and discuss favorite poems (either your own work or by poets that move you). Check out Out Magazine’s best queer wordsmiths in a featured July 2025 article titled, 25 queer poets to read now and forever

Wednesday, January 21 from 1:00 – 2:30pm at the Cooper Center, 345 Walnut Street, Newtonville, 2nd floor, Activity Room #3 (accessible by stairs and elevator.)

Bring your lunch, invite a friend and join the conversation! Snacks and beverages provided.

​This gathering is sponsored by Newton’s Dept. of Older Adult Services at the Cooper Center for Active Living in Newton​. At each meeting, a different theme or current event is discussed, or a fun activity is organized. 18+, intergenerational, queer and ally. ​
