LGBTQ+ Newton Co-sponsor “Ice Cream Social” and Waltham Pride

LGBTQ+ Newton and Waltham Pride teamed up to co-sponsor an “Ice Cream Social” at Pizzi Farm in Waltham! Organizers shared that the “goal is to bring queer community members and their allies together to socialize” and what better way than over ice cream and lawn games! There was a fabulous turnout despite the 95 degree heat wave! A special thank you to Rick Pizzi, owner of Pizzi Farm for being trusted supporters and for donating the delicious ice cream for the afternoon event. Approx 50 folks from the queer and ally community gathered, strengthening community connections across city lines!
