LGBTQ+ Newton Joins UU Church in West Newton for Transgender Day of Remembrance

LGBTQ+ Newton gathered with approx 200 attendees at the UU Church in West Newton for Transgender Day of Remembrance to remember, resist and rise. In loving memory, candles were lit, names were read, prayers were invoked and a call to action was summoned. The evening was a powerful and loving interfaith service to bear witness and to commit to protecting and celebrating our transgender community.
